I think it's pretty obvious that I love blogging or this blog wouldn't have survived for so long, but after a short break; where this blog wasn't on my short list of priorities, I realised that I really do love blogging, as I actually started to miss it.
As any normal person would do, I thought why not make a list and share it with everyone? We all know everyone loves a good list, so here is a list of reasons why I love blogging. Who knows it may even encourage you to love your blog that little bit more! (if you have one)
1. It's My Own Space
I know that everyone says their blog is their space of the internet, but that's because it is. Having a blog means you have your own little place to share whatever you feel like sharing. As I have this little space on the internet, I feel like I can be totally myself and not be concerned about what other people think, as this is my little area, so I can be free to be me; if that makes sense.
2. You Can Do It Just About Anywhere
If there's an internet connection then you're in! Even if there isn't you could easily take a notebook out and then type it up at another time! This means that the schedule is up to you and you can write at any time or any place; it is completely up to you. What I love about this is the flexibility it gives, as I tend to write at night and then take the pictures the following morning and that works for me.
3. The Community
Everybody is so supportive! Which is so refreshing, as it seems like everybody wants to help everybody, as there are a number of posts of people giving tips on how to start a blog, which is so encouraging to new bloggers. Plus twitter makes it so easy to communicate with other bloggers, who are more than willing to have a chat.
4. The Comments
The internet can be a scary place, as people can be much more likely to be nasty, as they have a screen to hide behind, but there is so much good. Whether it's a comment on my blog or on my Instagram account (@luxuryblush wink wink), it means the world, so a big thank you to everyone who reads my blog and leaves such lovely comments!
I feel like as my blog has grown, I have too (deep), as I aren't the most confident person in the world, but this blog has gotten me out of that; I mean it hasn't completely removed my shyness, but it has had a good go!
6. You Get to Be Creative
You get to piece everything together, from the picture layouts to the order that you're going to talk about things, and it's so exciting to see a post come together, If you blog about different things, it means that each day you're doing something slightly different, so it keeps it exciting, as you aren't doing the exact same thing day after day.
In a nutshell, I'm really happy with everything that blogging has taught me so far, but I'm so excited to see what's to come!
