Last weekend I travelled over to Dudley with my family, for two days of shopping at Merry Hill.
I packed sensibly, by applying the makeup and then putting it into the bag, that way I know what I would to take and I'd use everything; which actually worked, except for the lipsticks that I kept in the back pocket of my bag, since they didn't fit.
The makeup bag that I use is from Primark, and it is really useful, as even though it looks quite small, a lot of stuff can fit into it.
I have recently started to put moisturiser under my foundation, as I do have really dry skin, so it really does help to keep my skin moisturised. I use the Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturiser, as I have sensitive skin and react to some skin care products, but my face seems to agree with Simple.
Over this I used Bourois Healthy Mix Serum in the shade 51, as I love the yellow toning. I used to love this a while ago, and have definitely gotten back into it now.
Next is concealer, I used the Soap and Glory Kick Ass concealer, as I love how it has two shades to it and the setting powder; this works really well on those under eye circles.
To set all of this in place I used the Rimmel Stay Matte powder in the shade 001, I put this all over just to achieve a matte finish and to ensure that the makeup lasted longer.
For my eyes I took the Naked 1 palette, as this is definitely my favourite out of the two that I have tried. I love how darker looks can be created, but so can lighter looks that are perfect for during the day. If I had to pick a favourite it would definitely be side-car.
I would then apply the Supercat eyeliner by Soap and Gory, as this is by far the best that I have tried. I would then use the Collection Extreme Coloured Lengthening Mascara in Black for my bottom lashes, and the Maybelline Lash Sensation for the top lashes.
That is everything that I took in the makeup bag, I did take a lot of lip products, but I won't go into that, as I took way too many. I also had brushes in a separate bag so they didn't get squashed.
