The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser Review

34

I have dry skin, so the vitamin E range from the body shop is my favourite, as it is very moisturising and kind to dry skin.

This is a cream cleanser, so it is a thick consistency, but not too thick that it could be confused as a moisturizer. I can not describe smells, no matter how long I smell it, I can not describe it, other than it reminds me off a the original Imperial Leather soap bar, which we always had in the house when I was younger, to me this product just smells clean.

To use, I put a small amount on the back of my hand and then dot it all over my face, so it covers my face and neck. I then use a cotton pad in circular movements whilst making sure I use all of the cleanser.

The bottle claims to effectively remove makeup and impurities. Leaves your skin clean, soft and supple, which it does, as when I was trying to smell the product to describe the scent, some of it came out, so I wiped it on hand and then rubbed it, and now my hands are so soft. The product also contains Wheat Germ Oil, which doesn't sound lovely, but is actually great for moisturising and conditioning the skin.

For a 200ml bottle it is priced at £8.50, and it is a good job I checked the website for the price as I am convinced I bought this for £8, but oh well. I think this price is appropriate considering the product works so well, the only downside is that it does not last that long. I've been using this for about half a month and I'm half way through the bottle already.
