As soon as I saw the Mariah Carey range for MAC, I knew I had to get something, as everything looked stunning. Plus I've never got anything from a limited collection before, so this seemed like a great place to start. I did also pick up some things that have been on my wishlist for a while.
Mariah Carey | MCizzle | Cremesheen
I honestly can't get over how gorgeous the packaging is. The lipstick it's self has a really cute print of a butterfly engraved into it. MCizzle is a warm rosy peach shade with a cremesheen finish which means it should be comfortable and moisturising.
Mariah Carey | Dreamlover | Lipglass
My first ever lipglass from MAC. This one is named after one of her songs, as I found out after a quick google. Dreamlover is a milky peach with pink, white, and gold pearl. This has plenty of glitter in it, so if glitter lips is your thing then these lipglasses will be your thing.
Dazzleshadow | I Like 2 Watch
I actually ordered two dazzleshadows, but only one turned up, so who knows what happened to the other one. When this first arrived I was a little disapointed by how yellow it looks. It is actually a mid tone brown with gold sparkles. I can imagine that this will look great applied with a damp brush. It is extremely glittery, but it isn't gritty, as the sparkles are flat.
Lipstick | Whirl | Matte
I've had my eye on this shade for so long. Whirl is described as a dirty rose which is sort of true, but I would describe it as a deep rosy brown. If you want that signature Kylie Jenner lip colour then this lipstick is for you. This will also be great for this time of year, as it is quite dark and does appear dark brown on some people.
Mineralize Skin Finish | Lightscapade
Lightscapade is described as a soft candlelight beige with multidimensional shimmer, it is such a soft pretty highlighter that I have to agree. It also has a pink undertone, there are also a lot of different colours swirled into it which gives it that multidimensional finish. This seems perfect for those that have fair skin.
I also got some samples, but I'm not going to include them.
Have you tried anything from the Mariah Carey range?
