Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stains Review

As soon as I rediscovered these beauties in my collection, I knew I had to dig them out and start wearing them again, as I do like a lip crayon; especially these ones.

People compare these to the Clinique Chubby Sticks, but as I haven't tried them I won't be able to compare. From some balm stains that I've tried I know that it is hard to get pigmentation into a balm that won't be drying on the lips.  These however have incredible pigmentation and I don't think they're at all drying, they leave the lips feeling soft and not at all flakey. These do however tug at the lips a little on application

As this product is a stain, it means that not only is it moisturising, pigmented, but it also has amazing lasting power too! (After a trip to Costa, I did need to reapply for an even finish).

I have four colours all together:

Honey: A true nude, definitely a My Lips but Better shade
Rendezvous: A bright coral, that applies orange
Sweetheart: A bright fuchsia pink
Cherish: A cool toned baby pink

Left to right: Cherish, Sweetheart, Rendezvous and Honey

A downside for me is the smell, as I don't like the smell of mint and these are peppermint scented. Luckily for me you can smell it on application and that's about it, but that's about the only downside!

Have you tried any of the Revlon Balm Stains?

Thank you for reading!
