Is it called writers or bloggers block? Well, whatever it's called, it has been making today very difficult, as I have had no idea what to write. Then after nipping out, I realised that I carry the biggest bag around with me and I have no idea what's in it; well I'm not 100% and instead of just clearing it out like a normal person, I thought that I'd write a blog post about it.
There is only one thing that I can't be dealing with in my back and that is empty wrappers, empty wrappers do not go in my bag, or if they do they will be coming out as soon as possible. Thinking about the one thing is a lie, because I can't be dealing with receipts either. They have to come straight out once I get home.
First things first, the bag it's self. This bag is from River Island and I got it for Christmas; well not this exact bag. On Christmas I received a new bag from River Island, but when I used it for the first time it broke, the zip would just not work, so I took it back and was able to swap it for a bag of the same price. With this bag it can't be filled too full or I'll get the same problem with the zip which is a bit annoying.
Moving on from River Island and the zip problems. The bag is quite large and gets referred to as a suitcase, and my Dad likes to call it my Essex bag, but anyway the bag its self is grey and two shades of cream, so it goes with pretty much everything; it also has gold detailing, that I think is really pretty and matches the colours of the bag. The thing that I don't get, is the straps as one of the straps is in a permanent upright position, but the other one is not. For pockets, the bag has one on the front that does not zip, but is only small, which I think is really handy for my bus pass, as its quick access. Inside it has the classic zip pocket at the back, and then the two little sleeve pocket things at the front.
Purse
This post has been in a haul post, so I won't go into too much detail, but I'm a little bit in love with it. I haven't used it properly, as at the moment there's no money in it, because I still have to transfer my change, but I do have my bank card, boots card and ID.
Simple Makeup Wipes
I have sensitive skin and I have had a reaction to a brand of wipes before, don't ask me which brand, because I can't remember, but I do know that these wipes are amazing! I carry them around with me, as you never know when you'll need a wet wipe and my eye makeup has a habit of smudging around my eyes, and it looks neater to wipe it away with a wipe; not with a finger.
Katy Perry Killer Queen Perfume
This is the perfume that I've been wearing none stop for a while now, and it's always handy to carry it around, because you'll never know if or when you'll need a top up. I had this for Christmas and I quite like the smell, and just like practically everybody else on the internet I can't describe a scent. After looking online, the 'top notes' (whatever that means), are Dark Plum, Wild Berry and Bergamot. The only annoying thing about this perfume is the bottle, it's not as bad when it's in the bag, but out of the bag it is a nightmare to store, as it does not stand up.
Makeup bag
This bag is from Primark and is actually amazing; it fits so much into it, so it is great for travelling. Inside there is: powder, concealer, mascara, eyeliner, lip balms and lipstick, the makeup wipes are usually in here as well, but I obviously didn't put the packet back in. I also carry around my powder brush and a brush for the concealer. It's always handy to carry around a few essentials in case anything smudges you can correct it easily enough.
Notebook and Pen
This is actually my college notebook, it's not the best looking, but it's pink and that's pretty much what sold me really and it was three for something when I got it, so I got two other colours, but yeah, it's a notebook that has all of my college notes in. I always keep a pen in the spine bit, as it's easy to find and that way I definitely have a pen, because you never know when you'll need a pen. Pens are something that you seem to need when you don't have one with you at that time, so I always have quite a few in my bag.
Sunglasses
These sunglasses are a recent purchase for me and they have stayed in my bag, as you never know when they'll come in handy, especially in the car when the sun gets low and that pull down thing at the front with the mirror in can cover it (I have no idea what they're called), but anyway, these sunglasses are red-herring and have high protection against the sun, so these will be good for holiday. They are black with a gold stripe across the top, which I think is really cute. The only thing I don't think is cute is the little protector thing that it comes in.
Cherry Drops
I don't like mints or chewing gum, so I carry around these instead, as they are delicious! There's not a lot to say other than cherry flavoured sweets that taste really good.
That's all that I have in the main section of my bag; I'm actually quite surprised that there isn't a bottle of water, I always have a bottle of water on me. In the back pocket of my bag I have:
My student ID
This is something that I never wear at College, but to save me from forgetting it I keep it in here, just to ensure that I have it with me in case they ask to put them on at College. I have however managed to lose my ID yet again, so I only have the lanyard.
Lip Balm
I don't know why I have an extra lip balm in here considering I have two in my makeup bag, but here it is. I do actually really like this one, as the quality of it is really nice; I just am not much for the smell.
Keys
My house keys live in here too; this is so if I get home first my keys are somewhere out of the way, so I don't have to start digging through my bag to find them. I love my house key, as it has this really pretty print, I have two key rings, one is a H which I've had forever and should probably come off, the other is a keying that my brother got me from one of his holidays, its pink with all bits coming off and then says sister, I do like this one, I think it's cute.
That is it for the back zip pocket, in the two smaller pockets on the inside at the front of my bag I have:
Pen
I have one pen here, it's the one that I got from London back in January, I just keep this here, just in case.
Hand Gel
I also have hand sanitizer, I can't go anywhere without this stuff; it's so handy to have. I have included this is a previous favourites post.
Mirror
Mirrors are also handy to have, as you never know when you might need one, or when someone else might need/want one. This one is from Primark and has two sides too it, one is normal and the other is magnified.
Hand Cream
I have dry skin, so this is handy to carry around, as hands can go dry at any time really and having dry hands is not a good feeling, so it's nice to have something just in case that happens. This is also in a previous favourites post, in case you'd like to see more about it.
Tickets
These are from January and I have no idea why they are still in my bag, it's my tickets from London for the train, underground and London eye; I have no idea why I still have these and should probably take them out.
USB
This is actually very important as it has all of my college work on it, so I need to have this is my bag to prevent me from losing it.
The last thing that I have in my bag is my bus pass and this stays in the front pocket; not a lot else to it really.
And that is everything that I carry around with me on a daily basis; I don't think that's that bad really; it is quite a lot, but I doubt I'll be cutting down.
